These foam air guns are pretty fun. They work like this:
You fit one of the rockets/bullets to the end of the gun and squeeze the air filled handle. When you squeeze, it forces the air out of the barrel and launches the foam rocket off and into “space”.
It tends to fly about 6 to 10 feet and is so light that it won’t hurt anything or anyone. I suggest buying two because they are much more fun to play with someone.
