I bought this gun lastnight at Toys r us for $26.99 so dont let this price fool you. It’s rate of speed it shoots is really cool for a toy and makes wars a lot more fun. It also lets you do single shots. But the only downfall is you have to pump it up so you can fire all 20 rounds and to reload it takes awhile. But all in all for the price you cant go wrong. Also the way the gun looks makes me think that it will really be hard to mod but it shoots harder than most guns. You can also shoot any 3″ dart.
This thing is a monster! It’s the most gun a man can have with a Nerf gun. Let me put this through my regular review criteria:
1) Power: It is powerful because it’s an air pump gun, which is more powerful than the other two types, spring loaded and spinning wheel. It takes more than 20 pumps to pump it up.
2) Speed: Can you say fast? You can shoot off all 20 shots in about 3 seconds. Literally you can cover your target full of nerf darts in the time it takes me to type this word. You can of course switch to single fire, but who does?
3) Jamming: Does not jam.
Pros and Cons: Pros: Fast and deadly in nerf wars. In nerf wars you always have multiple weapons and this is your machine gun. Anytime anyone charges your position and you have this gun, they are metaphorically dead before they can take two steps. There aren’t any cons so to speak, it takes time to load 20 darts, that’s one thing and it’s huge. It is a big gun, but it’s worth every penny. This gun is a must have in your arsenal.
This is a great Nerf gun, although younger children may find it a little hard to pump up. The pricing on this (pardon my wording) is a load of BS. I bought this–when it first came out–for $25.00. Buy it from Tors-R-Us and save $150.00.
